It’s known for being lightweight and more portable than other scooters of its kind. However, it’s considered a “last mile” scooter because it doesn’t provide the long-range you’d need for a scooter to substitute a bus ride. It can take you through that last stretch, however. Speed and Power output
With a base 250W brushless motor that delivers smooth acceleration, the Inokim Mini 2 can reach 15MPH on peak power of 450W. It has 2 modes: Eco and Sport. The former lets you ride swiftly and can get to a longer range, while the latter helps you reach the top speed of 15MPH.
It may not be the fastest scooter around but it’s not entirely a bad thing. This makes a suitable choice for kids and beginners because it runs at a safer speed.
Range and Battery Performance
The Inokim Mini 2 has an estimated and published range of 10 miles. Further testing showed that it eventually reaches 12 miles on Sport mode. On that note, the range can get to 17 miles in Eco mode on a single charge. Because of its compact 36V Li-ion battery, charging time will only take 4 hours. Design & Construction Quality
Mini 2 can withstand different riding conditions because it’s made of forged aluminum, the same material used for aircraft construction. This also means the scooter is lightweight. In fact, it only weighs around 23 pounds and should be easy to carry around. If you get tired of carrying it, you have the option of dragging it around with its integrated trolley wheels.
The Inokim Mini 2 can carry a rider who weighs up to 165 lbs., which is quite impressive given that the scooter itself is lightweight.
Materials:
Inokim Mini 2 is made of aluminum alloy, the same material used to build aircraft and boats. You can bet that this e-scooter is sure to last a long time and even longer with proper maintenance. It measures 44.7 x 35.8 x 15 inches.

The handlebar may not fold, but it plays a big part when the body of the Mini 2 is folded. This is because it acts as a handle for the trolley option.

Mini 2 has an easy-lock-and-unlock design. You can fold and unfold it with ease. When folded, the Inokim Mini 2’s dimensions are 11.8 x 14.2 x 15 inches, contributing to a highly portable factor. Add to this the lightweight and durable materials, Inokim Mini 2 is worth checking out.
Assembly:
The Inokim Mini 2 is already assembled when delivered to your doorstep. It comes with the typical Allen key set and mini pump.
The only adjustment you probably have to make is to add or reduce the air in the front wheel.
Adjust the front air-filled tire according to your preference to help in the shock absorption.
Tires & Braking System
Inokim Mini 2 is equipped with a CST 6-inch pneumatic tire on the front and a 6-inch honeycomb solid rubber on the back.
The remarkable braking system of the Inokim Mini 2 is one of the most commendable features it has. Inokim installed EABS brakes on the front and a fender brake on the back.
EABS is a regenerative anti-lock braking system. It links rear-wheel braking power to the front brake lever without compromising the rear tire lock.
Safety

Who Should Buy the Inokim Mini 2 Electric Scooter?
Inokim Mini 2 is meant for city commuters who want to cut a few miles from the distance they travel every day. While it’s not a substitute for a bus or train, it can cover the few miles you need to walk or travel to.
The torque, battery power, design, and features are sufficient to cope with the last mile solution.
This electric scooter is perfect for individuals who have a day-to-day job they have to go to. It is also great as a travel buddy for college students who need to move from one area of the campus to another.
The compact design lets you easily tuck it under a desk or car trunk. It can be carried or dragged on subway stations, college walkways, and smooth pavement.
Final Verdict
I give the Inokim Mini 2 a score of 3.75 out of 5.
While it is lacking in certain areas, it does work for its design and purpose. Designed as a “last mile” scooter, it has the right speed, power output, and range. While it has an anti-braking system and reflective stickers, it’s lacking in the safety department.
In terms of construction, the use of aircraft aluminum is impressive, contributing to the scooter’s lightweight and portability.
I would recommend Inokim Mini 2 if you need a scooter to get around a short distance such as within a campus or from the parking lot to your office building. This is not the e-scooter for you if you want a ride for longer travels and one that you can use on the main roads.
